The Nevada County Law Library in collaboration with the Nevada County Bar is offering monthly “Noon Time Legal Seminars,” which are open to the public, on legal topics of general interest. These seminars are taught by local attorneys and designed for the practicing attorney, but they are also intended to be accessible to the general public.
The cost is $15/seminar for non- attorneys and $30 for attorneys (who will receive MCLE credit — Minimum Continuing Legal Education, through the Nevada County Bar Association). Seminars on February 20 and March 20 are co-presented by experts in the community, along with an attorney.
Seminars are from 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm held generally on the third Tuesday at the Nevada County Superior Court, 201 Church Street, in Nevada City. Spaces are limited and pre-registration is highly recommended; Call 530-265-7161 or email Law.Library@nccourt.net. (There are no Seminars scheduled for July or December).
